All About Hodaka Dave
I started riding motorcycles in my young teens. The third bike i ever owned was a Hodaka Ace 100 1968. That motorcycle, along with an Ace 100B 1971 and a 1972 Super Rat were my introduction to Hodaka. I continued to ride and race during the late 1960s to the 1990’s, mostly in enduro races.
I started working for a Suzuki dealer in 1972 and have now been a full time motorcycle mechanic for over 30 years. During that time I rode and raced modern bikes along with my son Michael.
In the early 1990’s I rediscovered Hodakas after meeting Paul from Strictly Hodaka. I bought some bikes and started racing the AHRMA Cross Country series, particularly the two day ISDT Reunion Rides.
I started Hodaka Dave’s Vintage Service for the love of motorcycles and as a part time business. I offer a range of services on vintage bikes including motor rebuilds, bike restorations, wheel lacing, carb rebuilds, crank rebuilds, case repairs, and cylinder bores. If you have a project give me a call.
